I prioritize exercise to ensure a good quality of life, now and into the future.

I enjoy the company of my family and friends, especially when we gather around good food and drink, play cards together, or go on explores and adventures.

The people who know me best would say that I am highly organized, considerate, trustworthy, warm and welcoming.

Since 2019, I put my organizational skills to good use as a robotics mentor for FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition Teams 5024 Raider Robotics and 5679 Girls on Fire.

I am an avid reader, favouring fiction over non-fiction.

One of the more frivilous (foolish?) things I do is try to keep plants alive. As of January 2025, I have 50 houseplants.

Perhaps the most intriguing thing to know about me is that I am a Taphophile.

And, I love cats! We had the sweetest cat, named Jenny, for about 5 years. Next came a dark, furry, highly entertaining cat named Poe.

Other hobbies include tap dancing, scrapbooking, piano, ASL and Ham Radio.
